• VBAC/C-Section

Whether you plan to have a C-section, or the need is unexpected, our surgical cesarean suite is readily available. The suite is conveniently located within the Birth Center, so there is no need to be transferred to a different area of the hospital. A support person may accompany you into the suite to participate in the birth. Photos are encouraged to capture the special event!  Our surgical and Birth Center teams work together to give your family the best experience. Skin to skin contact and breastfeeding may be initiated soon after the birth, if desired and there are no complications.

RAMC continues to offer VBAC services to those patients who are appropriate candidates.
