Dr. Hobson Creates Strong Bond with First Time Parents

December 12, 2022

Megan and Doug Danahy welcomed their first baby into the world on September 17th, 2022. Eloise Mae Danahy was born at 8:13 am weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. Megan was cared for by midwife Ame Fischer during her pregnancy and labor. When things weren't going quite as expected, Dr. Paula Hobson, OBGYN, became involved in her care.

"Dr. Hobson was like a fairy godmother! She genuinely cared for both myself and Doug through it all and checked in with us throughout the day to see how I was doing," Megan said. "We were worried, but all the staff reassured us that everything was going to be okay. They were there for everything and supported us. We never felt alone!"

Megan's stay in the hospital was a little longer than anticipated. "This became a mini home for a bit and we felt safe through the thick and thin."

Congratulation, Danahy family, on the birth of your beautiful baby girl!
