Baby Eberle Makes a Splash in her Debut at RAMC

Erin Eberle and her husband, Mark, are proud to announce the birth of their second child, Mallorie Ann, born on June 29, 2009. Like her 2 year old brother Dane, Mallorie was born in the waterbirth tub in the Birth Center at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. Erin, a Childbirth Educator at RAMC was able to use her knowledge and experience during the birth of her children.

Over a 10 day span this June, the midwives at RAMC have been pleased to be able to assist 3 families (including the Eberles) in having their babies by waterbirth. New mom Erin states, "The weightlessness of the water made the discomfort of my contractions more bearable. I am so pleased that RAMC remains committed to a wide variety of safe options for women giving birth."
