Activities and Outings
We have many plans for 2010, including Winter Senior Olympics, Chili Cook Off, Senior Skip Day, and trips to the Crane Foundation, Devils Lake State Park, a winery and even Reedsburg's Airport to check out the planes.
We have monthly lunches out and about, monthly intergenerational gatherings, craft groups, ceramics, exercise class six days a week, musical entertainers, bible study, on-site church services, certified therapy pet visits, various bus trips at least two times a month, baking groups twice a month, weekly manicures, card club two times a week and more!
So many things to do - you can pick a few things, or keep really busy, it's up to you!
Senior Skip Day 2010! The goal of RASLC's Senior Skip Day 2010 was to get all of the assisted living and long term care residents and tenants involved in activities outside of the facility. Some of the many activities are highlighted in our photo gallery. click here for photos

Our facility
Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center, consisting of a 50-bed long term care unit and 24-apartment assisted living facility, is designed around a neighborhood concept with residential living wings extending from the Main Street and Towne Square area.
The long term care unit offers 12-13 large, private rooms per neighborhood for a total of 50 beds.
The assisted living facility consists of studio and one bedroom apartments.
The Towne Square houses offices, activities, chapel/theatre, library, beauty and barber shop, rehab therapies, exam room, cafe, country store, bank and post office.
